The beauty of a tapas restaurant is that you can fill your table with plates and plates of delicious and diverse selections. That’s the case at Zuzu’s in old town Napa. This riverfront restaurant offers a menu inspired by the culinary traditions of Spain and South America. It also features an eclectic wine menu with limited-release selections and wines from lesser-known wineries in California, Portugal, Spain and South America. Be sure to save room for dessert!

Ristorante Allegria

Napa has its share of fine dining establishments, including Ristorante Allegria. When you enjoy a meal here, you can expect California cuisine with Northern Italian influences, as well as breathtaking ambiance and top-notch service. The fact that the restaurant is located in an old bank only adds to the atmosphere. In fact, you will certainly love a meal served in any of its lovely dining rooms, but consider reserving a table in the old bank vault for special occasions.

The Restaurant at CIA Copia

The Culinary Institute of America is home to one of the newest restaurants in town. The Restaurant at CIA Copia is next to the Oxbow Marketplace and is within walking distance of Churchill Manor. We recommend you try out this inspired restaurant that offers distinctive dining selections using ingredients sourced from the CIA’s own farms and gardens. The menu changes with the seasons, so you can expect something new each time you visit. The restaurant also offers a curated selection of wines, beers and handcrafted cocktails.

Morimoto Napa

Offering diners the perfect blend of Japanese and Western cuisine, Morimoto Napa is one of the many Napa Valley restaurants that Churchill Manor guests enjoy visiting time and time again. Led by world-renowned Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, this restaurant first opened in 2010 and immediately began receiving accolades including Food & Wine magazine’s “Best U.S. Restaurant Openings.” Since then, it has continued to delight customers whether they are in the mood for lunch, dinner, dessert or a cocktail in Napa Valley’s first sake lounge. Highlights of Morimoto’s menu include Toro tartare, tuna pizza and Morimoto sashimi, each made with only the freshest ingredients available.



As one of the newest restaurants in town, Basalt opened in March 2016 in the site formerly known as Fish Story. Basalt features seasonal California cuisine with the flavors of Mexico, Portugal and Spain. Led by Chef Estaban Escobar, the restaurant currently serves dinner, offering a varied menu that includes mouthwatering entrees such as achiote-cocoa marinated black cod, grilled hanger steak, slow-roasted pork shoulder and array of succulent seasonal specialties.

Angele Restaurant

Angele Restaurant is ideal for those looking for an intimate dining experience. Located in the Historic Napa Mill, just one block from Churchill Manor, you’ll find a warm, rustic French country ambiance in which to dine on artfully prepared cuisine. Highlights of the seasonal menu include classic French onion soup, and steak tartare served with dijon mustard, a farm egg yolk and arugula salad. Celadon Restaurant

You’ll delight in a variety of tastes and flavors when you dine at Celadon Restaurant at the Historic Napa Mill. This menu is brimming with “Global Comfort Food.” Enjoy an assortment of fare from around the world including Asian, Mediterranean and American dishes that are expertly prepared. Whether you partake in lunch or dinner at Celadon, you’ll be able to select from an array of lighter bites, such as Butter lettuce salad with cherry tomatoes and tarragon-champagne vinaigrette. Delectable entrées include their Five spice-rubbed duck breast served with a fonduta grit cake, radicchio, black figs and a port reduction.

Ca’ Momi

When a craving for pizza strikes, Ca’ Momi is one of the best places in town for wood-fired pizza and other Italian favorites. Enjoy traditional recipes prepared with the best organic, local and Italian ingredients at both of its locations. Ca’ Momi Osteria offers a casual sit-down atmosphere and features a full menu for lunch and dinner. If you’re on the go, pick up a slice of pizza or a flatbread sandwich (and more) at Ca’ Momi Enoteca at the Oxbow Public Market.

La Toque

One meal at La Toque and you’ll understand that pairing wine and food is their passion. This fine-dining experience includes a French inspired prix fixe menu paired with wines selected nightly by the Sommelier. The restaurant offers three menus each evening including the fabulous Chef’s Table Menu, which consists of nine courses (six savory dishes, cheese and two desserts). Locals, visitors and critics alike have applauded the culinary creations served at La Toque for many years, and it has earned Michelin Stars every year they have been awarded in Wine Country. The restaurant was also the recipient of Wine Spectators’ highest honor, The Grand Award, for its wine list and service excellence.

The French Laundry

As you might imagine, given its name, the cuisine offered at this Michelin-starred restaurant is French with American influences. Located in a building that dates back to 1900, and has been included on the National Register of Historic Places, The French Laundry has received many accolades since it opened in 1994 including Wine Spectators’ Grand Award, as well as recognition from Restaurant Magazine as one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the World. And then there is the bold statement by chef Anthony Bourdain that The French Laundry is “the best restaurant in the world, period.”

Two tasting menus are offered daily including the Chef’s Tasting Menu and the Vegetable Tasting Menu. Each menu features a series of small courses to “satisfy your appetite and pique your curiosity.” You must try this institution yourself, just be sure to plan ahead and make reservations far in advance of your trip.

Napa General Store & Café

Napa General Store & Café is a fantastic location to browse for souvenirs as well as enjoy classic bistro fare. The Café’s lunch menu is filled with sandwiches, pizzas and daily specials featuring locally sourced items, all of which are sure to hit the spot after a morning of shopping or visiting local wineries. Be sure to sit outside on the patio to enjoy the warm California sunshine. You’ll also want to make time to stop in the General Store either before or after your meal. It’s the perfect place to pick up something for the wine lover in your life – or yourself!

Oxbow Public Market

Have you ever been hungry, but just couldn’t decide exactly what you wanted to eat? The Oxbow Public Market is the perfect destination for an undecided palate. They have multiple restaurants and eateries inside that the only problem will be which to choose first. In the mood for seafood? Try Hog Island Oysters. Craving a juicy burger? Try Gott’s Roadside. Want something sweet? How about Three Twins Ice Cream or Anette’s Chocolates. Grace’s Table

When you stop by Grace’s Table for a bite to eat, you’ll be treated to a delicious meal from their globally inspired menu. Enjoy comfort foods from morning until night that range from iron skillet cornbread with lavender honey butter and roasted beet salad with farmstead blue cheese, to kabocha squash gnocchi with gorgonzola cream and a house-ground chuck burger with parmesan fries. Breakfast is the focal point of each morning at Churchill Manor. Of course, your first meal of the day should provide you with the energy you’ll need to spend a full day exploring the local wineries, shops, galleries and more. But, it should also be inspiring and delicious. The three-course breakfast at Churchill Manor is all of these things and more as guests can enjoy an excellent breakfast in either vineyard frescoed sunroom or outdoors on the expansive veranda that wraps around three sides of the mansion overlooking the rose gardens.

Our evening wine and appetizer reception are a very good time to meet other guests, mingle with the innkeepers, sip on local wines and enjoy delicious small bites. You can play a game of croquet in the side garden or just unwind on the expansive veranda.
