How to Enjoy a Napa Valley Halloween 

Halloween Wine Tasting with Poseidon Vineyard & Obsidian Ridge

For over 40 years, the Poseidon Vineyard has been producing delightful wines. With so many variations to choose from, Poseidon Vineyard, owned by Obsidian Ridge, provides a welcoming tasting room where you can sip and savor their many different creations. 

Halloween with Poseidon Vineyard is always entertaining. Arrive in costume to join in the fun! The 2018 festivities run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 through Wednesday, Oct. 31 at the Tasting Room. Those in costume will receive a complimentary wine tasting. Be sure to upload a photo to their Facebook page of you enjoying a glass of Poseidon Vineyard & Obsidian Ridge. The best costume will receive a special prize.

The Pagan Ball at Castello di Amarosa

Castello di Amarosa knows how to celebrate a Napa Valley Halloween. Its annual Pagan Ball has become one of the season’s largest parties. Show up in costume (it’s a must), and get ready for some tricks and treats!

Get your tickets early for this event, as it’s popular among locals, wine club members and visitors. It includes an early RIP Reception where you can enjoy select wine and enjoy the haunted chambers before they are open to the rest of the revelers. The evening includes tours of the 13th-century medieval castle, food and wine, music, and dancing, fortune telling and more! Visit their website for more event details and ticket information.

Napa Murder Mystery Wine Train Valley Wine Train

Napa Valley Wine Train’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theater is a fun way to celebrate Halloween. This experience is offered nearly every month but is all the more special in October. Dress up if you like! The mystery is set in the year 1915 and is held aboard their vintage train. Dress up if you like! Enjoy a multiple-course dinner and wine. But don’t forget, there is a murder mystery to solve!
