Some of the farmers who participated in the first St. Helena Farmers Market in 1986 are still St. Helena Farmers Market vendors today! As you might expect, you’ll find a wide variety of fruit, vegetables and baked goods available at the market. But you’ll also find handmade items including beautiful jewelry, pottery, as well as tasty treats including one of our favorites, kettle corn. 

We love that this is a market where you can get the common items you need for your week’s dinner. And you can get novelty items that are unique to the area! These also make great gifts. Speaking of gifts, the St. Helena Farmers Market even has a gift shop with apparel, tote bags, and more.

St. Helena Famers Market – The Community

While you’re at the St. Helena Farmers Market, be sure to look for the Chef’s Table. Here, chefs and cookbook authors give demonstrations on how to create amazing meals from the produce at the farmers market. What a great place to get tips and ideas!

The St. Helena Farmers Market is also a 501(c)3 organization because of their ongoing education opportunities for children and the community. This is another thing that we love about it! In addition to the educational opportunities, they also partner with local teens from the Napa Valley Youth Advocacy Center. These teens cook meals for St. Helena Hospital cancer patients and their families. So when you support the St. Helena Farmers Market, you’re really supporting an entire community!
