History of Di Rosa Museum

What started off as one man’s dream is now one of the finest collections of contemporary art. When Rene di Rosa purchased the property in 1960, his vision was to make it an “art park” for the greater public. After years of planting vineyards on the land, di Rosa turned his vision into a reality. Using the profits from his famed vineyards, he developed a world-class art collection. Today, di Rosa Museum draws visitors from all over to admire the beautiful vistas and thought-provoking pieces.

Exhibitions and Tours

When you arrive at di Rosa Museum, you’ll quickly discover that it is not your typical nature preserve. Stunning wildflowers, eclectic art, and roaming peacocks are just a few of the unexpected treasures you’ll find here! For $5, you can drop in and view the current exhibitions in Gallery 1. If you want to see everything that this gorgeous preserve has to offer, we recommend a guided tour.

Tours are $12 and include admission to Gallery 1 and the entire Residence Gallery. This 130-year-old stone building was converted from a winery into the home of Rene and Veronica di Rosa in 1960. Today, the building offers visitors a unique glimpse into the private collectors’ lives. The three-story home showcases hundreds of works throughout each room. Plan to spend a couple of hours seeing them all!
